The Red Shoes (1948) is a cult film directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, starring Moira Shearer in the unforgettable role of Victoria Page, a young ballerina torn between love and the absolute passion of dance. Vicky joins the prestigious troupe of the tyrannical Boris Lermontov, who demands total devotion to art from his artists, excluding any sentimental life [3][4]. Lermontov discovers their relationship and demands that she choose: career or love [3][4].

Vicky eventually marries Julian and leaves the troupe, but the passion for the stage haunts her. When Lermontov finds her again, he persuades her to return to dance the main role in Monaco, on the same evening that Julian is to conduct the premiere of his opera in London. Torn, Vicky sees Julian again just before the performance: he begs her to leave with him, but she feels irresistibly drawn to the stage. Possessed by the red shoes, she flees the theater and throws herself under a train, in a moving scene that echoes Andersen's fairy tale.

Shipping is carried out within 7 working days maximum via Colissimo (or equivalent), throughout the year.

You have 14 days to
after receipt to return an item to us. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer , unless the error is ours. The poster must be returned in perfect condition , in its original packaging . No returns will be accepted if the poster is folded, damaged or does not comply with the return conditions.

If the order received is incorrect or damaged due to our
error, we will of course cover the costs and offer an exchange or a full refund .
